Our story

I am Danielle, Co-Founder of FlySEN and a psychologist by training, but first and always, I am a mum to three wonderful children, two of whom are neurodiverse.

As a family, travelling is our greatest joy. Exploring new places and creating memories together has always been at the heart of our lives. But, as our children's needs became clearer, travelling became more challenging.

Still, we refused to give up - we adapted, planned, and found ways to make it work.

One day whilst packing another bag full of tools to help keep our children regulated on a flight, I had a moment of clarity - "Why don't airlines provide this kind of support?"

And from that thought, FlySEN was born.

A solution created by parents, for parents, delivered by the airlines, to make flying easier, calmer and more inclusive for all families.

What is FlySEN?

FlySEN Sensory Support Kits are carefully designed, evidence based kits that help neurodiverse children stay regulated and engaged during flights. Each pack combines tactile, visual, and auditory tools that support self soothing, focus, and emotional regulation, reducing anxiety and sensory overload.

Developed by parents with a background in psychology, FlySEN leverages research on sensory processing, attention, and stress management in children.  Studies show that a structured sensory input can improve emotional regulation, decrease disruptive behaviours and enhance the overall travel experience for children on the autism spectrum or with other neurodiverse needs.

For airlines, FlySEN is more than comfort tool. It is a practical, scalable solution that improves passenger satisfaction, reduces inflight stress for families, and demonstrates a commitment to inclusive, family friendly travel.
